If you get glitches, especially in the hangar falling through the floor, try to move the carrier a bit or change direction and see if it works better. The carrier flightdeck is usually between 17 and 17.5 meters. During testing it was found that placing vehicles slightly higher (18 meters) and giving them a downward velocity in init worked well. A line to use in init is: this setVelocity [0,0,-0.5]; This does not apply to the man class.
